Richard
W. Kerr, Jr. J.D.
Broker
Rich is a broker-agent who will help you put together
a successful real estate purchase or sale. A graduate
of the University of Virginia ('91) and Tulane University
Law School ('95) Rich spent twelve years as a trial
attorney in Virginia, working for two of the largest
law firms in the State. "I spent years in Virginia
courtrooms representing people whose deals, for whatever
reason, had fallen apart. I saw too many cases where
with just a little foresight and professional assistance
the deal would have been a tremendous success for
everyone involved."
|
In
2007, Rich, his wife Stephanie, and their two children,
Taylor and Jackson, left Virginia and moved to Hilton
Head Island. "My wife and I would come to the South
Carolina coast every year for a family vacation and
every year we drove home asking ourselves the same question:
"Why don't we LIVE here?" In 2007, they made
it a reality. "Absolutely no regrets -- one of
the best decisions for each of us individually and as
a family. Our kids love it and so do we!"
After taking and passing the South Carolina Bar Examination,
Rich decided not to jump back into the courtroom. "I
have always loved real estate and when Simon proposed
a real estate company, I absolutely loved the idea.
I can put my experience and knowledge to work helping
people put together real estate deals that work."
Having spent years handling contractual issues for clients,
and having bought and sold numerous properties personally,
Rich understands the frustration people feel with a
process like buying a home.
"For most people, buying a home is one of the biggest
decisions they will ever make. Having someone there
who knows the process in-and-out, front-to-back, and
takes the time to explain it all is invaluable for my
clients.""
In his spare time, Rich can be found on the golf course,
tennis court or just enjoying the lifestyle here on
Hilton Head Island. "We have 28 golf courses on
this island, more tennis courts per-capita than anywhere
on earth, and the beach is never more than a bike ride
away. How can you not love living here?" |
